FAST ASSEMBLY

The panelized building process is based on interlocking pieces of wood, which results in superior strength and greatly reduces assembly time. The walls are then thru-bolted, bonded under thousands of pounds of pressure and delivered. Once delivered, the walls are assembled typically in less than a day, saving both time and money.
With a traditionally built home, the wood can be left untreated on-site for weeks, resulting in significant damage. On your future Arkitek home, both the interior and exterior walls are pre-stained in our factory rather than on-site, keeping the wood protected from harsh weather elements. No gypsum to install, or exterior cladding. It all comes pre-assembled!
GREEN TECHNOLOGY
We are committed to ensure each home we build is constructed as efficiently as possible,
Our homes have close to 400% more wall insulation than many conventionally built homes, achieving a high level of comfort and overall energy savings. In addition, we believe in the use of Green Technology. Only 40 percent of the wood is used to construct the home, with the remaining 60 percent used for other components, resulting in less waste.
Also to consider is that factory pre-assembly greatly reduces on-site waste. This, combined with the use of super low VOC stains helps minimize ecological footprint.

Thanks to our proven flat stacking process, we can deliver our homes anywhere in the world. Typically, a home up to 2500 square feet can be delivered on one truck, which greatly reduced shipping costs. This process even allows us to ship overseas in containers. These factors allow our customers to choose any one of our homes, regardless of where they live or where they plan to build.

Gabriel Rousseau
Gabriel Rousseau’s practice is characterized by the diversity of his areas of intervention as a designer at the level of the object or at the urban scale. Having worked for many architecture firms over the years, he developed a strong and varied experience and a special knowledge in various aspects of the practice of architecture. His continued interest in urban living has led him to Formestudio, where he occupied the lead designer position from 2008 to 2011.
Since 2011, he teaches and is dedicated to his own practice.
He uses a multidisciplinary approach and a solid work experience to support a flexible and efficient organizational structure. His work intimately explores the specifics of each land and place and responds to the contemporary human condition.
Recent collaborations with artists have led him to discover new perspectives and new approaches to architectural design.
Charles Côté & Jean-Sébastien Herr
Capitalizing on their North American and European experience with a variety of world renowned architectural firms, MU Architecture’s founders acquired a considerable amount of international experience while working with multidisciplinary teams and practices in Montreal, Vienna, Barcelona, Dubai and have developed a wide range of expertise. Actively involved in each project, they are able to perform in respect with the European and American architectural rules and standards.
